hello, so i have a mind boggling issue with my pc.

When i turn it on i get the logos for the graphics card then it gets to the initial black screan with writing on it then nothing.

there is no beep from the motherboard. it sits on the display of the sata drive then it has the flashing cursor. (i have an image for it on where it stops) http://imgur.com/a/3d561

when i take the ram out it gets a ram error code. i dont think its the motherboard but im at a complete loss on what to do.

it has windows 10 installed on the hard drive connected, and i cant get into the bios. i pressed esc and f2 on multiple reboots and nothing.

i took the hard drive out to try and get to the bios but i get to the same point in the picture just without the sata device found

this is the specs for my pc.

Is this a new build, or one that's been running fine till now?

Have you tried resetting the BIOS yet?

Slap the HDDs serial number in the below link. I see some FW issues with that drive.

the build is about 6 months old, it worked fine till about 2 days ago. i had it unplugged and in the spare room for about 3 weeks. i had it all working till the day it was unplugged. then i went to backup the harddrive since im moving and then this.

what do i look for on this page with the serial number.

the serial is Z6E3CQXX if you would like to look for what i need to find.

it was the ram in the socket. the slot that it is in has burnt out. putting the ram in a different slot made it boot.
