i think he means he WONT flash under windows again mate
that is what i mean...so far i love my fatality ab350 other than the small bios issue.

No motherboards have the 1006 update yet as far as i know....why is everyone getting so worked up?

It's a side effect of the buggy shoddy release thanks to AMD unfortunately. As much as we all may love the product, the fact of the matter is that we probably all should have held off on buying at least 6 months while the kinks got worked out. A rushed release is a rushed release, and some of us are impatient trying to get our very expensive systems working correctly. Can't fault people for that. Especially with all the rumors circulating about the issues being directly related to the AGESA code, everyone is stomping their feet waiting for the update. I personally had no plans to touch ryzen for a while, but since DDR4 prices are on a steady rise, and the sales hit right when I had the itch, bought the parts. Only to find exactly what I expected...bugs. Lots of them. lol

There is a beta BIOS available for Asus Crosshair VI Hero.

Lol yeah, was about to say, the only X370 board ASRock has that costs more than or about the same as the Crosshair is the Fatil1ty Professional Gaming. 

About the only thing the Crosshair has going for it, is it has a lot of USB ports on the back...  But the ASRock X370 Fatil1ty and Taichi have more things like the Wifi and ultra M.2. And in the case of the fatal1ty, the 5G lan for use with future routers.

ASUS having "BETA"(user created) BIOSes I just couldn't bring myself to buy a board that NewEgg Reviewers give a 44% 5 Egg reviews and a lowly 27% give it a 1 Egg review.. Sorry ASUS ... This time anyways

Have no complaints with my AB350M Pro4 other than the cheap 3+3 phase design and vdroop issues. But that seems to be par for the course with AMD mATX boards. Best one ive used so far was the gigabyte gaming 3 but it wound up blowing up, that was a 4+2.

I haven't had that vdroop issue everyone seems to have had. I'm on a Ab350m Pro4 and I'm solid stable at 3.95ghz on 1.35v on my 1600. I can drop to 1.3 if I keep it to a 3.9ghz oc. I just want my T-force Nighthawks to run at 3000 eventually lol. I know they aren't on the qvl, but they are fine at 2400 at stock timings. Can't really complain as I got them for free from a buddy that works for them.

I have to disagree with you on waiting 6 months.  At most, it would have been the first AGESA update.

I have had zero issues with my Ryzen rig.  Every component has performed flawlessly out of the box. Win10 installed to my NVME without issue.  RAID1 storage setup.  It's been brilliant. 

AMD definitely did a poor job coordinating the ecosystem with partners and preparing its MB manufacturers, but there have been no bugs that have prevented me from doing what I need to do.  No BSOD or critical system errors.  Just flawless performance.  Perhaps I'm one of the lucky ones.

Not having a specific RAM speed available is not a bug.  It's platform immaturity.  If I recall correctly, and do correct me if I'm wrong, it took Intel 6-12 months to fully develop their DDR4 support.

Users are accustomed to faster RAM because of Intel and AMD is admittedly playing catch-up.

The only issue I have is waiting on Cryorig to send me the bracket for my AIO.  Again, AMD's lack of supporting partner's prior to launch.
