Right here with you man ![]() I can't even OC from the BIOS with such an old bios version.. Not quite sure this would even fall under the RMA category tbh, the issue would just be pinned on the user. Hopefully someone can provide us with an answer!

I have the same issue Asrock fatal1ty X370 K4 gaming bios v1.30
I boot to dos disk just fine, i run the executable, i see all the expected messages (finding model, copying file, setting environement variable) ... then i see press any key to reboot , i press a key and it reboots but it does not update anything ie i do not see the update process like in the guide. I tried clearing BIOS setting and loading default UEFI value but it did nothing. I want to stress again issue is not with booting to DOS or running the DOS upgrade executable, on that front no issue, it just doesn't do anything I am bit loss on what to try next |

I type AB35G4~1.exe
I tried AB35G4_250, but it didn't work.

About the bios name, do you type
AB35G4_250.exe or AB35G4~1.exe |

I type the biosname without .exe.
I will try enabling legacy boot and disabling secure boot. Edit: Legacy boot was enabled and secure boot was disabled by default. I tried typing biosname.exe and it didn't work either. Edited by terosterone - 26 May 2017 at 6:10pm |

Yes. I've pressed F2 to get back into the UEFI. The version doesn't update and stays at 1.30. Even if I reset settings to default and reboot.

Hi @Nightbird,
Yes and Yes.
After any key, it doesn't "automatically update the bios," as said in the video :( Edited by terosterone - 26 May 2017 at 1:10am |

The link itself works, but for some reason the hyperlinking breaks it.
I removed the hyperlink, so if you just copypaste the link to a browser, it should work. It's the motherboards BIOS (DOS) guide. |
