I got this board from Newegg when it was just launched. It's rev 1.03 and always has LLC settings. Seems like they indeed changed something in rev 1.05.

Interesting and informative thread. I was wondering about this same issue, and it saved me a lot of searching in the BIOS.

If there's no way to disable LLC here I plan on asking ASRock for either a custom BIOS w/o LLC or that they send me a rev1.05 board.

Sorry for the lapse. Let me know what happens, Wardog. I'm interested to see what you can make of it. lol

My OC currently is set at 3.7Ghz @ 1.2650v which dips down to 1.212/1.206v under load, hitting like 80C with stress testing on the stock cooler.
If I say I know what I'm doing, will you believe me?

thank you and wardog for the update.

at least i can stop pursuing this topic. i'm a little bit sour i'm not going to lie. but then again, i paid $130 for it, can't complain since this is just a backup build i did to try out ryzen.

currently my 1700 is rock solid at 3.9ghz. voltage still set at 1.325 (albeit jumping all over).

again, appreaciate everyone who took the time to get us some answers.

There were 3 more pages to this thread, I don't know what happened to the last 3, I figured out that for some reason the Killer Sli/Ac boards that are revision 1.05 DO NOT have LLC settings whereas rev. 1.03 DOES have LLC settings (In BIOS 2.5, not just 2.3)

I'm just waiting to get a message back from one of the admins on here, we're going to try to figure out what's going on.

The forum server had a drive problem, and we lost all the posts between ~June 20 and June 15. That is NOT just this thread, but the entire forum in general. Sorry about that!

Really? What part of T3chHippie's "I'm just waiting to get a message back from one of the admins on here, we're going to try to figure out what's going on." didn't you get? srsly

Kick back and relax. They're working at it.

really?

don't you think that response was a little bit on the "un-necessary" side?

and yes, i agree. we should both kick back and relax.

Yea. My apologies. That was a tad over the top. It had been a long Long day already when i replied to you. Handshake

I try not to let things get to me day in and day out here. Your "so that means i'm out of luck?" struck the wrong nerve at that moment.

Please accept my sincerest apology to you.
