Hi, I bought this mobo and there was nothing wrong with it until I installed the led strips.
ASR tool can control the led of the chipset heatsink correctly but not the strips giving only purple color and most of the times when I try to change the color the Application crashes in Win10, is there something I can do or is it a problem with the controller? Update BIOS to 3.10 does not help. I hope anyone can help me, thanks a lot. |

Dear 9tony9, Greetings, this is ASRock TSD. We test AMD WRAITH MAX cooler and LED strips, with BIOS P3.10, ASRock RGB LED v1.0.27, the function works properly. The RGB LED strips should be connected to RGB LED header on MB. Please make sure if it is installed correctly. Hence, there are some suggestions for verifying. 1. Please update BIOS to latest P3.20, and make sure BIOS is in default before updating. 2. Please install all drivers in the system. 3. Please make sure the RGB function is enabled in the BIOS. 4. Please re-install ASRock RGB LED ver:1.0.27 utility for verifying. 5. If possible, please change another LED strip for verifying. Thanks! All the best, ASRock TSD |
