when entering options what does the left coloum say eg 0.900 ?

then add the preset 60mv/120mv to equal 1.1

eg 0.900 + 180mw equals 1.08

yes the r5 1600 usually is fine at 3.8 with 1.35 volts

but !

this is not what im asking you to do at the moment

let us FIRST make your pc stable

please try soc at 1.1 volts
dram at 1.375 volts
and test for stability

and test for cold starting/booting
e.g. switch off wait 5 mins and start the pc to check it is doing this correctly

Yep. I noticed also in cpuz that sometimes it reach 1.35 volts to 1.38 volts.

So what is ur recommendation of my cpu? Can it reach 3.8ghz on 1.35 volts? Or what? Im using stock cooler

Im using latest bios which is 3.20

p.s.

your actual cpu volts is within expected range for 3.6ghz

but i worked on a r5 1600 the other day and it needed 1.35 to remain stable 24/7, yet another identical cpu on identical board does it below 1.3 volts both at 3.8ghz

the point im making is you may well find you need to bump the actual cpu up a little as well

p.p.s.
why are you using an old bios version ?
later bios as a rule are better at dram settings

yes let me explain

the SOC stands for system on chip, it is where the memory controller resides

so we increase the soc volts to beef-up the memory controller ability

i would suggest we overshoot for stability and then when stable we can fine tune and lower the volts back down

so SOC to 1.1volts
and also dram voltage to 1.375 volts

this should bring this cpu/ram settings stable for you

test for a day or so to check and then
drop ram back to 1.35
test day
drop soc to 1.0

if you loose stability at any stage then you know what part is causing it

We have different ram. Is it ok?
