I remain pleasantly surprised by this Crucial 2x8 16GB 2400 kit.. Clocks to 2933 at 1.35 and 104 SOCC offset and just behaves.......not a tad more than 2933 or just falls over, but a decent standby and probably enough for my non  gaming machine
If I do get the urge for Gskill 3200 ish, then the crucial can go in my other build, 2200G.

Yes, the only way I can seem to get past 2133 is with XMP enabled, I turn off XMP and my ram goes down to 2133.

My exact ram Module is shown on my mobo Memory QVL (Raven Ridge):
as:
CMK16GX4M2B3200C16 Samsung B
So I figured it would be all fine and dandy. I have noticed that it does say that anything over 2667 with XMP could be unstable depending on the CPU compatibilities.

-------

I just tried running FUR Mark with XMP off, 2133, and I got error code with blue screen, I got code Thread_Stuck_In_Device_Driver and Video_TDR separate occasions immediately after the slightest iGPU overclock. Also I see no off for XMP so I figured "Auto" is off.

I think it is also worth mentioning that at one point I could not get my PC to even post, It would be stuck on an endless boot loop. I finally solved it buy unplugging and plugging the ram back in. at the time my ram was at 3200 XMP.

I have also ran Memtest86+ with XMP 3200 for about 10 Horus and nothing showed up. Additionally Prime 95 doesn't seem to cause the issue when I use the option most taxing on the ram.

-------

I have the b350 mini itx fatality board.

stree corsair does seem to not be the best friend to ryzen

it is better now than at launch ,but that is more to do with bios managing the preset corsair xmp numbers better than any advancement with corsair r&d

the gskill b dies are better ,but hey weve still had to help some guys alter the xmp timings to be more stable ,and in some cases it actually performs better with tighter timings and is more stable
am4 is a very different beast to intel ...................

Funny you should mention that Corsair Vengeance.
As I said to you in another thread, I was having a go with mine, Vengeance LPX 3200C16 2x 8 GB kit,
it seems happy enough to go into its XMP state, 3200 @ 1.35 volts, and boots into BIOS and windows OK..........But after an hour or so I was getting blue screens........and not really had many of those since win 98!  and had no option except to do a windows restart. So lots of stuff gone and/or scattered all over the place. So the Corsair is going on Ebay along with some quad Crucial 16GB 2400, which should get me enough for some decent ish G-skill.
So your point to Coreysmith may well be getting to the cause of the problem.

coreysmith

are you running that corsiar at xmp 3200 ?

if so i would suspect an issue with the sub timings causing instability

further backed up by your statement that its better downclocked

CoreySmith 1200,
there is one item in your list  that I have too, thankfully none of the others.
I had an issue with the sleep function being missing, this was restored by installing the chipset and graphics drivers in the right order.

However, after extended sleep it will not respond or reboot, if I do a power down and power up i get the same screen as if waking from sleep..........Maybe the ACPI wake on keyboard function is at fault? The powerplan sleep arrangments all look as they should so pointless changing anything there.

Just some more 2400g issues I am having so anyone else can relate, ur not alone in this storm comrades!

I have an issue where my screen will turn a solid color with any sound continuing to play, and the computer will be able to respond to keystrokes like mute audio or something. It is easy to reproduce the solid color when playing FurMark, but it happens elsewhere. Hitting my physical power button on the PC will shut down the computer, not before the solid color randomly changes to another solid color however.

Also when computer is in extended sleep it will not be able to come back from sleep at all some times, showing no video signal when pressing the power on button or clicking with the mouse/keyboard.

I have also have an issue where a game will crash and say something like "unable to access 0000 0108 or FFFF FFFF" of a local addressable space, not sure if that is related to the cpu/iGPU managing its memory share or something that causes conflicts, but I never had that problem on my other computers playing the same game for hours.

These are all in addition to:
- various blue screen errors... commonly being the VIDEO TDR issue
- Instant crash when trying to overclock the iGPU even the slightest (+50MHz) with AMD Master software
- frequent frame drops and stutters in games

My best solutions (based on my results) to reducing the frequency of occurrences, beyond the common recommended setup instructions, is to down clock RAM, turn of SMT in bios (good for certain games), and slightly down clock iGPU.

Right now ... whenever i do a scan on CleanMyPC , i get that BSOD 100% of the time .... i also get a BSOD in different times, sometimes i could be on chrome, sometimes during start up. Problem goes away when i delete the AMD video driver and use the basic windows driver

Only you can answer that one but given that you "love" it and the fact that there will obviously be both a new BIOS and new Radeon driver coming along soon I'd hang in there.
