so first dloaded was 7.11.. 2nd dload was 7.7
and now...........7.17.. nd no not my eyes or screen!  I wrote the driver numbers down!

That's right. Don't get angry. Look back a few posts. You said there you had version 7.7 when, it turns out, you meant 17.7. It's no big deal but you confused us both.

Think it best I just accept I mis-read the first sight of 7.17 as 7,7....................and have done! too difficult to backtrack and recall accurately now each stage. including what I wrote down!

to say not everyone in the uk is a dodgy old fart ! Tongue

my radeon driver pack is
17.12.1

although its offering me new driver 18.2.1 and 18.2.3

point to note ,my graphics is a rx480 though
