I don't think Raven Ridge is the problem in and of itself. But Raven Ridge prevents us from using an older BIOS. Since I didn't feel like playing musical chairs with CPU's, I opted to go the RMA route and get a board that doesn't seem to have this problem. Which is a pity, as I generally prefer Asrock.

So you think it's a problem with BIOSes 4.40 and 4.43? OK. Well, I'm sure there will be a 4.50 coming along soon. Personally, I would have waited.
For me the choice was between the ASRock and Gigabyte ITX boards, too, with the Asus ones being non-starters for Raven Ridge APUs. I chose ASRock because of the better VRM cooling and because the layout of the headers better suited my case. I don't use the WiFi (but that's no excuse for it not working) but I'm disappointed that there's no USB 3.1 Gen 2 - though that appears to be common to all ASRock B350 boards. There may be exceptions but I don't know of them.

Still experiencing the same issues, I have another 2-3 weeks to return it. However my support ticket yielded Asrock sending me a new bios chip. Wonder if that will do anything.
Patience is a hard thing, but luckily this isn't my primary machine.

The BIOS seems to be the only reasonable option. The Gigabyte board is using a nearly identical WiFi setup. Intel PCIe M.2 module, they're just using the older 3165 instead of the 3168. But both are extremely common modules. If there was an issue with the Intel or Microsoft drivers or the cards themselves, you'd be hearing about it else where. I prefer the layout of the headers on the Asrock too as well as having a brand preference for Asrock. But not enough to sit around hoping for a quick BIOS update. Without WiFi the board is useless for me. The Gigabyte board is cheaper and has USB 3.1 Gen 2 as well as functioning WiFi.

Good luck with the Gigabyte. Shame it has a Realtek NIC, but I suppose you won't be using it.

Can confirm that I am having the same issue with 2400G. I already got sick of dealing with Gigabyte since I got a dead ITX board from them and opted for ASRock, which apparently has a faulty wifi adapter :(
In any case, I think I will just be purchasing a USB wifi adapter and finding some way to disable the on-board one. |

You can turn it off in the BIOS or you can disable it in Windows.

Yep! I carried my rig into the living room and hooked it up to the router and, lo and behold, everything is stable once i disable the wifi adapter. Hoping ASRock and/or Intel pushes out updates to fix the on-board wifi soon. I'll push a ticket through to them about it anyways |

Yes, that's how I run mine. Bluetooth works fine, by the way. XavierMace's argument is convincing. The Intel WiFi cards are quite common so it's unlikely to be a driver problem. I think there will be a new non-beta BIOS released soon and I expect it will fix it. We'll see.
