New build. Using one stick DDR4 ram in second slot(wont post in any other slot). The splash screen comes up and I try to select options 'del' or 'F2' to get in bios and things are non responsive. I can ctrl-alt-del the computer fine so the kybd works. So cant get into BIOS
THe stick of ram is G-skill and is as follows: F4-2400C15S-4GNT which I dont see on the compatibility list but is this really a symptom of that? CPU is A10-9700E Bristol Ridge. Could the BIOS be too old to recognize this chip? Bought all the other day from Newegg. Thanks for any help Kurt |

According to this your CPU is supported by all BIOS versions. You'd stand a better chance with a qualified stick of RAM but you might try clearing the CMOS via the jumper before giving up.
