I have a new system build.
Specs:

    X299 Taichi XE
    I9 7900X (all core 4.7 GHz)
    64GB DDR4 2666 (1.2V) Ballistix memory (4x16)
Asus Hyper M.2 x 16 AIC (Asrock did not have one at the time)
    4x280GB Intel 900P Optane M.2 to U.2 drives in RAID0
    Intel VROCISSDMOD raid key
    EVGA 1080ti SC2 Hybrid graphics
    Coolermaster AIO 280mm in push/pull
    Asrock Thunderbolt 3 AIC

Still using bios 1.0.
System gets thru Bios rather quickly.
Fast boot is disabled in UEFI

System takes a very long time trying to boot into Windows.
Sometimes it simply will not boot, reset button and it will boot.
Eventually.

MSconfig has everything off.
Page file off

Benchmark numbers are incredibly good once I get in there.
Any ideas what to look for?
Thanks

Seems like there isn't a lot of participation in here.

I am running the 1.4 bios on mine and it seems to be slower to me as well, I am not sure if that is a function of the raid option in the bios or not. It is a little faster for me when raid is disabled, only because it doesn't take time to display the raid configuration.

I wound up just not using VROC on the board.
Intel is of no help, and ASrock does not seem to monitor here.
I just figured with 4 Optane drives in RAID0 it would boot quickly.
Even using VROC as storage it slows boot time dramatically.
So I got a 960 EVO for OS/boot,
and am using Disk manager software raid (Optane) for storage.
Boots in 2 seconds, shuts down quickly.
I love the Taichi XE board though anyway.
