Hello.
For the G.Skill F4-3200C16D-16GTZB module on G.Skill's website verifies that this RAM is a 16GB (8GBx2) module.
Also, the 'RAM Speed' ASROCK have written for it is 2933.
Again, G.Skill says that this model has 3200MHz.
Could you please confirm that the F4-3200C16D-16GTZB is compatible on X370 Taichi ?
Thank you for your assistance in advance.

Dear Sheeon,

Greetings, this is ASRock TSD.

The F4-3200C16D-16GTZB memory we claimed is the same as the one on G.Skill website.

This module is compatible with our MB but the highest memory frequency we can achieve on X370 Taichi is DDR4-2933.

As the DDR4-3200 MHz is belonging to overclocking, it depends on whole system configuration and other parameters. It is not guaranteed.

Thanks!

All the best,
ASRock TSD

technically that ram is 2133MHz
3200MHz can be achieved through XMP (eXtreme Memory Profile) on selected boards
g skill has qvl list of boards on which this clock has been tested to be working
which all of them are intel (x299, z170, z270, z370)

as for ryzen 1, they support 2666MHz, anything above it is considered as overclock and may not work and usualy requeres manual tinkerink with timings/voltages
ryzen 2 did go slightly up with 2933MHz support, anything above is overclock

as for ram which should work in xmp speeds from gskill, those are GTZRX (trident z rgb) or GFX models (flare x)
those are hand picked and tested on selected x370/x399 boards (gskill has its own qvl list)

soo if your mobo qvl says 2933, then u can put xmp profile in your bios and set speed accordingly to qvl supported speed (which is working/tested speed)

if u want to go higher than that, than u will need to manually set timings, otherwise ram may get unstable

i have the 3200c15d-16gtz and its worked since day one (around 1 year now)

BUT !

please note the cl15 and cl14 3200 8x2gb kits are using the better samsung b dies ,so have a much better chance of working correctly at the design speed

the cl16 kit you link is cheaper for a reason and that reason is it dosnt have the samsung b dies as the chips

As above.  My G Skill is at 3466 with no issues after several weeks of tweaking.  If you are thinking of getting to 3200 or more, you need to drop the bucks on the Samsung B die memory.  BTW, I have 4 sticks at 8GB for a total of 32GB working at 3466 T1 14, 14, 14, 30, 54

OTOH, unless you are running 4K gaming, I understand that there is little value in going with an expensive memory as anything over 2666 is pretty much a waste of monies on memory.

However, if you want to achieve a decent overclock on the memory, you are going to have to drop the bucks.
