X399 Asrock, where the hell is new Agesa bios!!

Yes, only 2 sticks of 16gb for now.. Definitely something I'll keep an eye on.. when I upgrade.  Hadn't realized folks were getting a speed penalty for running 4 or 8 sticks.

Weird as my 4 x 8Gb Flare X b-die single sided modules can't run stable above 2933/3066 on Fatality X399 - just intermittently will reboot when system is just idling but on Fatality X370 was perfectly stable at 3333Mhz.


My 4 x 16GB dual rank b-die kit will run HCI Memtest past 1000% error free on X399 but again will intermittently just reboot the computer when system is idling. The 16GB modules would not run past 2933MHz on the X370 at all.

And I can hit XMP 3200 and 3333 with my Flare X 8GB modules (32GB Total) and XMP 3200MHz with my b-die 16GB modules (64GB Total) as well on X399 but it's not stable even though it will pass 1000% HCI MENTEST without errors it will intermittently give a blackscreen (bluescreen error) and reboot when the system is idle.

At 2933/3033MHz the system is rock solid and doesn't have those stability issues that appear when XMP 3200MHz + is enabled.


Others have described the EXACT same issue as I have experienced above 2933MHz with their 3200MHz b-die ram when using XMP @ 3200MHz.


Flare X was rock solid @ 3333HMz on Asrock X370
