Sorry, been on vacation and wasn't able to look into this again until today.

So I updated my BIOS to 4.80. Lot of different options now in the OC-Tab. After entering my settings I noticed that they won't be accepted any longer by the system. I can enter them without problem, but the CPU won't clock higher than the default 3.3GHz.

What am I missing here?

I had the same problem, nothing I did could fix this until I updated my bios to version 4.x.  Looking at the bios versions for your board, you need to install the 3.5 bios (bridge) and then install the latest bios.  This should fix your multiplier bug and let you get your overclock.

agreed 99% sure its a cpu with the multi bug

the cure i believe was to use offset voltage

Overclocking via multiplier. CnQ is disabled.

Not the only one with this problem:

I think it has something to do with Idle-States. Maybe the processor is stuck in warm-up?

Overclocking via BIOS, fixed CPU Voltage and LLC on level 2.

I forgot to mention:
It's only stuck at 1550MHz for the first boot for the day. When running the system for a while at 3.7GHz, I can clock as high as 3.8GHz afterwards.
The next day the system will start again at 1550Mhz again however, unless clocked down to 3.7GHz again.
Note that no settings are changed overnight in the BIOS.
