My external WD Elements drive will not spin-up or be recognized by Windows when plugged into any of the USB 3 ports. Only case-mounted USB 2 seem to work (but not the case-mounted 3.0). My mouse and keyboard work in the 3.0 ports, but I suspect they have different power requirements. The hdd does have it's own power supply.
I've installed the most recent AMD drivers.. I don't see any USB drivers for the mobo on ASRock website, only the All-in-one.. Should I try that? Any suggestions?

Nevermind I fixed the problem! All my fault- had a bad cable. Swapped it out and the 3.0 is working now.
