Don't forget the Spectre fixes! Intel boards got them almost instantly.
Although AMD is marking the Spectre fixes as 'optional' I for sure know I want mine! I mean, come on! |

What are you using to check temps? I think we have to wait for the pbo to be fixed. 4.64 pbo works and I get about 4.075Ghz with a clc 280.

@JZ While we are happy and thankful to see some of the issues getting fixed the state of this board bios is still not satisfactory, there are still performance issues with Taichi/Pro Gaming, 4.81 is still a beta bios. I see you have a 12 nm there, have you tested for the clock gen issue? The list of performance issues for the Taichi/Pro Gaming is as bellow:
Not so urgent issues, still issues: xhue
As for memory speeds, This is the Prime Pro with my 1700 and Micron D9RG@2927, like two weeks after the release of the first Ryzens. This is the Taichi, back when it had a functional bclk with my 1700/Hynix M-die@3000 This is the C6H with it's functional bclk, my 1700/Hynix M-die@3333 This is the C6H with it's functional bclk, my 1700/Micron DR9G@3134 This is the C6H with it's functional bclk, and my 1700/B-die.@3600 This is the Taichi with it's broken bclk, my 2700X/B-die@3466. Like always, BETA bios ( are we ever leaving beta ? ) or L4.81 if you prefer. Edited by virpz - 21 Aug 2018 at 11:26pm |
