hello, I am fairly new to the pc building world so excuse me if I call something by the wrong name.
I recently built a PC using the Z690, and as anyone would be, I was excited to turn it on for the first time. But when it came time to do so it wouldn't. I then thought I got a faulty power supply so luckily my brother was able to lend me one of his spares to rule that out. when I plugged in the new supply, nothing changed. all that happens is my fans will kick on for a second then turn off again. the only parts that are not in the computer at this time are SSDs and a GPU. I was told that it could be a problem with my CPU or Mother board itself. please help as I am willing to try many things to get it to work! |

what motherboard do you have and are there any diagnostic LEDs showing or any bleeps being made by the motherboard? - if it's a newer 13th gen intel processor that you're using then you may need to flash the bios.
