Thanks for sharing what turned out to be the problem, I will make note of it as
something to have people check should they have the same issue in future. There
is no need to feel bad for being angry with a problem. While yes, it is best to
be polite and friendly on a forum, most people on tech forums understand when
someone goes off at something that has been giving them a hard time

Enjoy your system

I'm surprised I didn't see this before ..but I had BSOD's with my daughters B350 Fatal1ty itx/ac's wifi and I had to go to Intel's website to get their latest driver (Win10) and that cured my woes. The driver posted on ASRock's site (at the time) was what I was using.

So I just upgraded my cpu form a ryzen 7 1700 to a 3700x, the 1700 never hit 70c so i'm not 100% sure if its a buggy bios or cpu, I updated to the latest bios I tried an older bios no difference I turned off the Over temp protection, once again no difference, the cpu on the other hand runs great when i manually set the voltages and speeds 4.2ghz across all cores at 1.2v,
