ASRock sent me a beta BIOS 3.41 (AGESA 1.0.0.3AB) for X470 Gaming ITX/ac, and I can now install the AMD driver. There are also now options under AMD PBS to set PCIe Switch and NVMe to Gen3 (which is the default setting).

I've been gaming for several hours now and not one issue. I was contemplating returning my shiny new RX 5700 XT and was looking over the RTX 2070's .. or maybe grabbing an X570 mobo .. Gonna hang on to my Master SLI/ac and video card.. Thanks ASRock!

BIOS 3.40 for my mobo cured all my woes .. I only had one woe, but it's cured now!
Running RX 5700xt at PCIe 3.0 (Gen 3)instead of having to manually select Gen 2 to get windows stable. Going from 2700x to 3700x I can now run 4 dimms all at 3200 (rated speed) instead of 3000 |
