Hi everybody, I have a problem with my X99M Killer running F4-3000C15Q-16GRR from GSkill. When enterin gthe URFI Bios all four slots are recognized but only with 2133. Normally I ought to have 3000 right? I already did a bios update to 2.0 with the same results. When I try to load the XMP 2.0 adjustments the board freezes during boot at code bd . On 2133 everything works fine and the system is booting without problems. Since I am runnung win 7 on that machine on an Ultra M2, could I perhaps deactivate the UEFI and get over to the legacy bios? Thanks for helping me !!! Best regards... Mirko |

Hey there, your ram is capable of supporting 3000mhz, however, for the systemboard it may not support that speed out of box. You will need to do some tweaking with memory dividers (125 strap or 100 strap) as well as dram voltage and vccsa. Also, you need to factor in the CPU IMC whether or not it will handle that speed. Since this x99 officially supports 2133mhz ram, anything higher is considered an overclock and not guaranteed.
