Left system running while having dinner. When I returned it was powered off.
Pressing the power on button saw the chassis power light and activity light illuminate but no activity on the display. After a couple of seconds, the display power light started a slow on/off blink and a few seconds later the system powered down. Tried once again and the same thing happened, so unplugged from mains and left it for a day. This evening, tried again with the same result. Unplugged the system, removed side panel and checked RAM modules for seating. One module was not seated properly (latch open) so pressed down until latch engaged. Checked others - all okay. Plugged in and tried again - same result with "POST code = "6f". Checked manual and Post code 6f lies in range with error description: "Chipset initialisation error - press <Reset> or <Clear CMOS>" Tried <Reset> and no change - still powers down with Post Code 6f Any ideas?

Problem solved!
Cleared CMOS, re-set UEFI config and all seems fine. Must have been a spurious mains spike... Dave
