GTX 750 TI on Asrock N68 VS3 UCC

   Hi, i'm planning on upgrading my gpu from a XFX Radeon HD4670 to a  EVGA NVIDIA GTX 750 TI 2GB SC on an ASROCK N68 VS3 UCC. I know that it is a PCIE 3.0 X16 vga card but I've been told that is backward compatible with the motherboard (PCIE X16 1.1 aparently). Is this true? Also, if it is backward compatible will the motherboard recognize the new card? Do I need to update the BIOS? Currently I have the BIOS 1.10 version installed, the latest one is the 1.20 version. Thanks in advance.
