    Posted: 25 Jul 2018 at 10:31pm
Hi all,

i did update my X399M Taichi from Bios Version 1.00 to 3.10.
(did updateing first rom v1.00 to v1.10 and after that updateing from v1.10 to v3.10)
After the Update i setup the bios from 3,4ghz to 3.8ghz @ 1,375v and activated XMP for RAM.
After a restart, Mainboard doesn´t boot and i got the debug error code d0 shown.

My system runs perfectly and stable with the same settings on Bios Version 1.00,
but not with v3.10.

With Bios Version v1.10 it also runs perfectly with the same settings.
Maybe an issue in the bios update ?

anyone any idea ?

My Configuration:

AMD Threadripper 1950x
Enermax TR4 240 Watercooling
4x8GB Corsair Dominator Platinum 3200Mhz

2x EVGA GTX1080 FTW2 HB SLI

My PC is also frozen right now, mouse can't move, 0% on update, A0 code

Sure hope it doesn't brick when I try to restart it.

*And it bricked itself, just boot loops now, Thanks ASrock. Why did I ever try to update my BIOS...I was on the last Beta BIOS, did it though a flash drive, got me better memory support.

**PC is back up and running after using the USB bios flashback and putting it on 1.10

Could just be an issue with 3.10, maybe stick with 1.10 for now

So you guys started in bios and hit F9 load safe defaults then F10 save and exit. Back in bios updated to 1.10 bios and after flash shut down and booted back to bios, hit F9 safe defaults then F10 reboot, back into bios then flash to 3.10 then shut down and reboot back to bios and again load F9 safe defaults then F10 save and exit then back into bios and THEN LOAD your oc settings.

Well ?????

just to add to above reminder to always flash with stock bios defaults

brian (chew) a bit of an amd guru also recommends to use a single stick of ram to flash bios to cut down risk of data corruption
