New board, 2 hard drives with win working 10 install - 1 SATA, 1 M.2 Cloned from Sata
BIOS reports no boot device but can see both of them, together or separate.
I've disabled TPM and UEFI still cannot boot to either device.
Looking for a solution to utilize my cloned drive.

cloned drive converted to GPT
Shows up as a windows drive in boot order (same as before converting to GPT).

Check my thread I posted to today.

I had the same issue and it was the old HDD was a MBR format and not a GPT format. I didn't find a way to recover the data, though it's supposed to be possible by running a conversion program 'mbr2gpt.exe'. See this link:

https://scottiestech.info/2017/11/12/convert-your-windows-10-boot-drive-from-mbr-to-gpt/

It didn't work for me, but maybe it will for you.

Good luck,

Gary
