I can't update to 2.0 or 2.02 due to a blank screen error at cold boot. I've been working with Asrock tech support but so far no luck. It runs fine on version 1.28 and 1.30. I don't get it, they changed something in the newer version, the hardware is fine. This probably will be my first and last Asrock board, I never had any problems for years with Gigabyte.

I am really sorry to hear that. Maybe you can try to see it in a bit diferent way, that you helped to improve the bios and alsoother people who light have similar issues. I know how frustrating it can be but in the end all this is made by humans and humans make mistakes.

Best regards

I have Steel Legend B650E Wifi motherboard.

On Bios 1.28 so far no major issue.

Did seem an external harddisk not work well and failed to react properly and seemed to lock up windows explorer on windows 11, could be usb protocol issue, electrical issue or windows 11 bug or bad luck.

I did notice some other electrical line going over monitor, seen it only once so far, related to this external usb harddisk, perhaps saver to never use it again... could be cased by no grounding present on these devices because of appartment/electrical situation... though unplugging cables can fix these kinds of issues perhaps ground loop issue.

Anyway concerning the motherboard, I am quite happy with it... fan curve support and rgb support could be better software wise.

Especially spinning up fans based on max( of cpu or gpu), now would have to choose, cpu runs hotter though, for now I keep it on manual/fixed RPM settings, in summer I might experiment with colors for temps and maybe auto throttle on cpu temps or so ! ;)
