My AMD fx-8350 idle temp is 44.5C according to the BIOS.
What should it be? |

I am not sure about FX CPUs but my intel CPUs always read a little high in BIOS, usually 35 - 45c depending on the cooling I am using then when in windows the idle temps drop to what I would expect they should be. So long as your in OS temps are good I wouldn't worry about it.

The CPU is not really idle in BIOS/UEFI, it's under load. For what purpose, I am not sure, but on my Phenom II X6 the BIOS/UEFI temperature for the CPU is over 10C higher than what it is when I'm doing nothing in Windows. My fans are always spinning at full speed, so it's only due to the load the CPU is under.
