Totally off topic question, I see you seem to have EVGA memory in your Ryzen PC. G.SKILL seems to make the memory for EVGA.

Very curious what model of EVGA memory you're using, and what speed you can run it at.

I'll have to open the machine and take a stick out to see the model..can't remember offhand..

It's 3200MHz, but can only do 2933MHz right now..I hope they fix that,but I doubt it, I guess ;)

The problem is the following:
When I start windows, I hear some static buzzing in the background.
Then after a few seconds, I get a windows has installed some new hardware notification sound, the buzzing dissapears.

Afterwards, the audio level is too loud, I have to turn it down to about 20% to not murder my ears. I have a feeling this is bad for audio quality because compared to the Gigabyte X370/AB350 boards I really notice the difference in quality. In the realtek driver suite I see an option for the Impedence of the headset (which is probably too high for mine) but I can't change the setting. I do see another option with "Dynamic/Balanced/Ultimate?", but changing this doesn't seem to do anything.

Anyone else having these problems, or should I just reset windows and try again with a fresh install?

Mine is a fresh install of Windows 10 and I am having issues with the audio as well. I've reinstalled the drivers 3 times now and I'm running the latest bios. I've disabled Nividia audio driver to rule out any conflict. Tried speakers, and two different headphones. It occurs with all three.

There's intermittent static with volume stuttering and just general sound choppiness with streaming, games, etc.  I would try another bios, but I'd rather not take my chances with that, until perhaps the next official release.

im on a taichi but

i can tell you i had a proper panic moment with my sound being terrible also

from memory i cured it one of two ways and i cant recall which

first place to try was bios
i had two settings for front audio header HD and AC97 (changed it but cant recall if that was the fix)

second place was in windows itself
opened up the software for soundcard (realtek i think) and there were loads of different settings even for same port i messed with these also (trial and error)

i did cure it
now im thinking im more sure it was the windows based settings
as i recall on teamspeak program it also defualted to incorrect ports/settings  and i had to change that to use teamspeak clearly

it wasnt nothing fancy like loads of numbers it was a graphical interface and tick boxes in windows to select the settings

hope this helps

I removed the Realtek driver and my issues went away both for the rear and front.
