WE have had 4 of the new Z170 boards (2 Xtreme 7 and 2 Formula) with Win 10 installed and each have this recussing problem. Once Win 10 is installed, each startup results in USB Not Recognized...error 43 and this is identified in Device Manager. In checking closer, it appears to be the USB 3.0 XHCI Hub causing this where it does pick up initially on boot.
I have tried the USB patcher utility and don't understand if it worked or not. I installed 2 Win 10 installation fresh after using the ASRock patcher to create the USB disk, and also through the Intel USP Boot program with the USB\ 3.0 Creator utility. After both installations I still get this USB not recognized ON ALL SYSTEMS. Am I doing something wrong? I have also tried to refresh all USB drivers, turn power management off...etc...still same thing...on all systems. |
