But M.2 is not recognized in BIOS, also not by W10 installer of course.

The Sata 3 port on your board is shared with the M.2 channel, so if you want to use M.2, you'll need to move the Sata connector to another port (1, 3, or 4). When the BIOS detects Sata 3 is in use, it will automatically disable the M.2 slot it's shared with.

I had the same issue. Moving my sata connector to another of the three ports fixed it.

Dear dellx37,

Greetings, this is ASRock TSD.

According to the Specification, M2_1 socket supports PCIe M.2 type device; M2_2 supports SATA type M.2 device.

Due to ADATA SU800 is a SATA type M.2 device. Hence, please install the device on M2_2 socket for verifying.

Besides, M2_2 and SATA3_3 share lanes. If either one of them is in use, the other one will be disabled.

Please also make sure there is no device on SATA3_3 port.

About detailed information, please refer to website Specification.

Thanks!

All the best,
ASRock TSD
