Good day,

I'm trying to build a simple PC. I have installed the mb, CPU and RAM. Connected a 20pin power from PSU to MB, then 4pin processor power into a mb head just above CPU, then CPU fan power into the mb. And power led, hdd  led, power button, reset button, speaker from chassis to mb. Did my best to follow all the manuals. When i start the PC - both processor fan and PSU fan are spinning and power led is on. But it does not boot, gives 5 short beeps.

1) MB: ASROCK FM2A58M-HD+
2) CPU: AMD A6 5400K. It does have an integrated graphics Radeon HD 7540D according to AMD website:

http://shop.amd.com/en-us/components/processors/AD540KOKHJBOX

3) RAM: Crucial Ballistix 1 stick x 4GB DDR3 1866 @1.5v UDIMM 240pin XT
4) PSU: Tecnoware Free Silent 520

I've found this FAQ - http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/FM2A58M-HD+/?cat=FAQ

>>>
5 long beeps mean that the system couldn't recognize the graphics. Some AMD CPUs (i.e AMD Athlon/Sempron family CPU) don't have integrated graphics processors.
<<<

My CPU does have it and i tried to install a discrete graphic card - it was no change, same 5 short beeps.

So, what could be wrong? can it be CPU or MB hardware failure?

Thanks in advance!

I would like actually to make a more specific question - in this situation should i keep trying to fix it by myself or is it more reasonable to seek a warranty service? Please advicce.
