Hi,

My System Parts:
Asrock A620M-HDV/M.2
GOODRAM IRDM 16GB 6000MHz CL30 RAM (Single RAM 1x16)
Ryzen 5 7500f
Rtx 4070S
650W 80+ PSU

Currently I have updated BIOS to 3.15 (latest) and I can use my computer with default settings. When I set the RAM configuration as EXPO or XMP profile and restart the pc, it works fine. However, the PC does not boot day after. CPU and DRAM leds remains red for forever. The only way that I can open the pc is to cut the electricity and start again. Then, everything looks fine. I have to do same in every morning.

I have same issue for BIOS version 3.10.

Please help me to figure it out.

Hello!

The maximum RAM speed supported by your CPU, officially, is:
DDR5-5200.
There is no guarantee that RAM kits with higher speeds will run reliably on your system.

If your RAM kit has a slower profile (DDR5-5200, or DDR5-5600) load that profile, and see if the problem gets solved.

If you don't have a lower EXPO profile, then load the profile that you already use, but search in the BIOS menu for "OC Tweaker" and look for the "DRAM Profile" tab.
There, you can load the DDR5-5200 profile, which will change only the DRAM speed, while your timings & voltage remains as set before.
See if this setting solves the issue.

NOTE:
?¢Stress test your system to make sure that it's stable!
?¢Download the free tool, MemTest86, put it on a USB flash drive and run it until it says "Pass"!
(It takes a few hours).
?¢Also, download Cinebench 2024 and let it run until it finishes!

If both of these pass, you'll, probably, no longer run into RAM related issues.

I hope this helps...

Hi,

When I use default settings in BIOS, it works at 4800MHz 38-38-38-77 1.10V
There are only 3 option in OC Tweaker > DRAM Profile Configuration, which are
- DDR5-4800 38-38-38-77 1.10V
- XMP1-6000 30-36-36-76 1.35V
- EXPO-6000 30-36-36-76 1.35V

Also, when I check the motherboard page (https://www.asrock.com/MB/AMD/A620M-HDVM.2/index.asp#MemoryRAP) it says 2 x DDR5 DIMMs
Supports Dual Channel, up to 6400+ (OC).

if you re sure about the DDR5-5200 Mhz max offical speed, How can I set it manualy. There is no option in profice setting.
Also, I would like to use 30-36-36-76 for the other values (tCL, tRCD, tRP, tRAS).

The last but not least, may be I am not correctly overclocking the RAM. Is there any guide for that?
DRAM performance mode is AMD AGESA Default (the other options are Competitive and Aggressive.
Performance Boost -> Auto (could be Cinebench_profile_1 and 2)
Memory Context Restore -> Disable or Enable
DFE Read Training -> Auto (Disable, Enalbe)
Gear Down Mode -> Auto (Disable, Enalbe)

The steps in the BIOS of the X670E Taichi are these:

1. OC Tweaker
2. DRAM Profile Configuration <Enter>
3. DRAM Profile Setting <Enter>
4. Select a Profile (for example: EXPO 6000 30-36-36-80 1.4V) <Enter>
5. F10 (Save)
6. Restart

7. OC Tweaker
8. DRAM Frequency <Enter>
9. Select a frequency (for example DDR5-5800) <Enter>
10. F10 (Save) / PC Restarts

NOTE:
The RAM kit will run with the timings & voltage of the EXPO profile, but with the DRAM frequency at 5800MT/s.

I hope this helps.
