ASRock A320M-DGS - no video, no beeps

I just mounted my first setup consisting in a ASRock A320M-DGS with AMD Ryzen 3 2200G CPU.
(for reference, here is the board manual) .

It doesn't boot. Although Ryzen 3 has an integrated Vega 8 GPU, there is no video output on the DVI connector. I also tried connecting a chassis speaker -> no beeps.
The 2 fans (chassis + CPU cooler) work correctly. Pressing the POWER button 10 seconds successfully turns it off, pressing the RESET button successfully resets fans.

I reduced the setup to a minimum : CPU + Cooler, 1 RAM module (have another one, tried switching , doesn't help), main ATX power cable + CPU 12V power cable, front panel pins, chassis speaker pins.


What do you think ? Before I return the product, is there any more tests I can make ?

I think your BIOS version (P4.80) is good.

I also think it should be ; I checked the box and it has this "AMD Ryzen Desktop 2000 ready" sticker :

thus is should normally be OK, unless it is something else like :

now they updated the support page to P5.10 for minimum version

which I cannot try since I don't have a spare older Ryzen CPU...

1) Check your RAM. Try changing to a different slot. If possible try to change it with a different model and brand. 2) Take out your motherboard from the casing and try to assemble it outside. Maybe there is a shorting to case. 3) Try a different power supply. 4) Take out your CPU and try to install it back by applying some pressure on top of it on the socket as you lock it.

Did 2) and 4). Will try 3).
For 1) and other issues,  I called my vendor support ; I mentioned the BIOS and RAM issues you reported, and they acknowledged it may explain all this.
Since they sell everything bundled and it is still under prime warranty, I just returned the hardware and they will retest everything.
