Just received a brand new ASRock X99 OC Formula/3.1 MB, 5820K CPU, EIST is enabled in the BIOS. For some reason, every time I enable C-State support in the UEFI and reboot, the MB disables C State support. About 1 out of every 5 reboots C-State support will remain enabled. This is using the latest 1.20 BIOS. Very frustrating since my CPU won't down clock at idle. My ASRock X99X Killer MB doesn't have this issue. Is this is a known issue? |

Have you tried clearing CMOS and setting C-states again? Sometimes UEFIs can get sticky with settings, usually a clear CMOS will clean out the cobwebs and sort it out.
