ASRock B650M PRO RS WIFI Motherboard:
AMD Ryzen 7 8700F 4.1 GHz 8-Core Processor AM5 socket Memory Kingston FURY Beast Black 16GB 5200MT/s DDR5 WINDOWS 10 PRO/ENTERPRISE OS 1 1TB M2 Crucial P3 Plus 1TB PCIe Gen4 3D 4X4: Disk 0 1 1TB SSD DRIVE Westerndigital Model:WD10SPSX-00A6WT0 SATA3: DISK 1 1 4TB WD - Blue Internal Hard Drive for Desktops Model:WD40EZAX SATA3: DISK 2 It has been 15 years since I last put together a computer. Issue can't format SATA drives? BIOS/UEFI would only format the 1TB M24x4 PCIE, which was auto assigned as Disk0, Drive:C in Windows10. Able to install Windows 10 enterprise, on the C drive. SATA drives were designated AHCI in BIOS setup, and seen. To format the new, additional SATA3 disks I had to use Windows10: [ Computer Management ] app. did the trick. My takeaway is the BIOS/UEFI will only format single drive. It seems to me that this should be noted in ASROCK Manual's as there are numerous posts about this Issue. |
