I had a Windows 11 update on 3/27/25 which green screened.
Upon restarting my pc I got a 7F bios code followed by an immediate reboot. This loop continued until I powered down the system. There was nothing on any screen, not even the bios loading display. As far as I can tell it appears the windows update somehow fried my CPU! z390 Taichi Ultimate i9-9900k 32gb G.Skill TridentZ RAM I tried all the usual tricks. Pull the RAM, replace 1 at a time. Removed graphics card and plugged in onboard. Waiting on new CPU to arrive and hoping that works |

Update:
Tried replacement CPU, still getting 7F. Only thing I could think of is BIOS but it appears this motherboard doesn't support the BIOS Flashback feature so there is no way to reload the BIOS since it doesn't even POST. Also noticed neither of the BIOS A nor BIOS B leds light up when trying to boot. |
