Hello everybody,
I am new here and I have a problem: I upgraded my GPU from a GTX970 to RX6700XT The new graphic card seems not being recognised from motherboard. Configuration: Motherboard: Z490 Steel Legend P1.90 (latest bios) Processor: Intel Core i5-10600k 4.10GHz RAM: 16 GB GPU: Nvidia Geforce GT 970 to 6700XT STRIX Gaming Steps I have undertaken: - Cleared CMOS - Put Graphics Card into PCI Slot 1. -> Unsuccesful - Put Graphics Card back into Slot 3. -> still not recognised. - Set the PCIE1 link speed to "AUTO" - Set the PCIE1 link speed to "GEN3" - Set ALL PCIEX link speed to "GEN3" - Set Above 4G DECODING to "Enabled" - Set the PRIMARY GRAPHICS ADAPTER to "onboard" - Set the DMI Link Speed to "AUTO" - Set the DMI Link Speed to "GEN3" - Set the iGPU Multimonitor to "Enabled" - Set CSM to "Disabled" - Set CSM to "Enabled" - PCI Devices "Legacy" and "UEFI" - Update BIOS motherboard from 1.20 to 1.90 (latest) - Used single psu cable 8+8pin - used 2 cables (cable 4pin + cable 4pin) - Tried both outputs on my graphics Card (displayport and HDMI) - Tried same rx6700xt on another workstation and works perfectly I am going crazy..What else can I try? Am i missing something in BIOS configuration? Thanks for reading and trying to help. |

I think it would be best tu use the tech supprot form
https://tw.asrock.com/events/tsd.asp And check your spam folder for replies When You connect the onboard, and You go into Windows, can You see the 6700 GPU, or not And important for the support guys, is, to know brand and model of the card. Sometimes it happens that it is firmware related, and a firmware update for the graphics card can help. When there is no SATA. M.2, or USB cardreader conencted, and you do a Clr CMOS, the board should always run into BIOS, and sometimes, it can also be an isuue with the cable, how weird it may sound |

Kind Regards
