VVGA Driver Update Causes Windows 11 Pro Crash £N

   Hello,

I recently built a PC using the B860 PRO-A WiFi motherboard. After downloading and installing the latest VGA driver from ASRock?�s official website, my Windows 11 Pro system crashes immediately upon reboot. The only way to restore functionality is by rolling back to a system restore point prior to the driver installation.

I need to update the driver in order to properly utilize my dual monitor setup, but I'm stuck since any attempt results in system instability. Has anyone experienced a similar issue? What steps should I take to resolve this?

Any insights or solutions would be greatly appreciated!

	Try the driver from Intel's official page: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/785597/intel-arc-iris-xe-graphics-windows.html The one on ASRock's page for your board is outdated. They don't usually update vendor drivers there (intel, AMD). ASRock specific drivers do get updates though. Good luck

	Thank you for the suggestion. I downloaded and installed the driver from the Intel website, but I encountered the same issue. During the "Pre-installation" step Windows crashes and then I enter a boot/crash loop.

	Try using the "Display Driver Uninstaller" utility (Google "DDU Download). You will want to run it in safe mode (you can google a guide on how to enter safe mode in windows 11 if you don't know how to). After that you can try the install from a normal boot (not safe mode) and see if that resolves your issue. Things like this can happen when you have leftover bits of old drivers clogging up the works. Good luck

	Thank you again for the suggestions. Here?�s what I did: - Installed .NET 9.0 from Microsoft to support the installation of Intel drivers from the Intel website. - Downloaded DDU from Guru3D and uninstalled the existing drivers in safe mode. After this cleanup, Windows 11 became unstable and crashes. - Rebooted into safe mode again and installed the Intel drivers using the provided executable from the Intel website. The installation completed successfully and prompted a reboot. - However, upon booting into Windows 11 outside of safe mode, the system crashes before I can even log in. Anymore suggestions? With each of your suggestions I seem inch closer to a resolution, therefore thank you for the ones provided so far.

	I was about to type out an essay of things to try but then thought someone had to have already made a tutorial... Check out this youtube video and try the steps they show: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6HUUj1uMJXQ That pretty much covers everything I was going to suggest trying and in an easy to follow guide. Let's hope this gets you up and running. This is why I still use windows 10....
