Once I managed to boot into windows10 my ethernet connection was not working.
I went through device manager and reinstalled the drivers and restarting PC, the device was detected but still not working. seemed like an issue with the cable, however, using it on a different computer it was working just fine. I installing different versions of drivers from realtek but it couldn't be detected. It seems like a hardware issue but the light on the port is still green which confused me as if it were completely broken??? Please someone help me, thanks. Dear Checknix, Greetings, this is ASRock TSD. Regarding your question, we provide some suggestions for verifying: 1. Please refer to the user manual (page.25) from the link below to clear CMOS to verify. (Please shut down the AC power) 2. Please re-install the OS and then check if the LAN can be detected with inbox driver; try to access the Internet with inbox driver. If the symptom stills the same, please install the driver as below to verify. 3. Please connect the LAN cable to other routers to verify the Ethernet environment. Thanks! All the best, ASRock TSD |
