ASRock Extreme 4 audio glitches under IO load

   When the PC is loaded (think it is IO load to blame), audio plays with glitches, stuttering and sputter.

This is particularly apparent when DOOM is loading. This also happens when Windows just loaded, but some background tasks still start up.
When those backgound activities end (i.e.: DOOM ends loading the level) problem is gone.
I use headpphnoes connected to front audio headphone connector.

Configuration:

ASRock Z170 Extreme 4
i5-6600K @ 4.4GHz
Corsair 750 RX
2x16 GB G.Skill 3000 @ 2133MHz
Radeon 7970 GHz ed.
Antec 300
Samsung EVO 850
Plextor PX-256 M6M 
WDC WD5000AAKS
Windows 10 Home 64bit

	Are you using the latest UEFI for your board? Do you have the latest audio drivers installed?

	Audio driver (for onboard Realtek chip) is "of the best version", which is 6.0.1.7614. What is "UEFI for my board"? How do I check what UEFI I have installed?

	The version information is displayed in the UEFI screen, hit F2 or Del on boot up. Do you have the HDD/SSD with Doom connected to the Intel ports?

	The UEFI is the new term for the BIOS of your board. UEFI is the name of the new firmware used in PC mother boards that has replaced the old BIOS firmware, starting about six years ago. Did you configure your audio with the Windows Sound feature? You have selected the Realtek audio as the audio device being used? You have more than one audio device in your PC. Your video card has audio output. If you have the Intel iGPU driver installed, you have the Intel audio device built into the Z170 chipset too. The audio signal is from the game you are loading, for example? What drive is the game installed on?
