Things I want to know:
1) Is external port 9 working right now (Asmedia controller) in superspeed mode. 2) current UEFI (bios) version 3) current related USB settings in UEFI 4) current ASMedia en Intel driver versions You said you updated your UEFI. Did you always "load defaults" in UEFI after updating it ? Does an other external USB3 storage device behave the same way, that it is connected to a high speed usb port instead of a superspeed port, while connected to an external USB3 port ? PS: Don't get confused when you see in USBtreeview that interrnal ports from an USB3 controller shows Highspeed ports as wel Superspeeds ports, because normally when a Superspeed capable device is connected, it should automatically be assgined to a Superspeed internal port.
