Hi,
I got a H270M-ITX and I have big trouble with wifi. I bought it March 24 and I was still waiting for parts during the month so I only brought the pc together 3 weeks after the purchase. I filled the form for the technical support to get an rma or warranty claim or something on April 18th and I still had no answer. So I'm very disappointed about Asrock customer service. About the problem: Wifi module as a terrible range. I'm talking about 10 inch of range and even still, the signal strength is at 90%, no matter wich band I choose. I tried swapping the 2 antennas together, unplug and replug them, reinstalling drivers, reinstalling windows. Nothing can fix this. When I try to do a hotspot, I need to put my phone directly on the case and I'm getting a 25% signal. The weird thing is it seems like the antennas aren't working at all because the signal strength and the range is the same whether they are pluged or not. So anyone here had similar trouble? Is there any way to contact Asrock

This sounds like you haven't fastened/screwed the antennas all the way on. Right when the pin enters the socket they can "seem' as though they've mated when in fact they haven't. |

Nope, they are all screwed as tight as they can be. I tried many times to take them off and on. I cannot torque them more.
So that's not the problem Edited by Smouvault - 04 May 2017 at 4:33am |

I finally found the issue! Not thanks to Asrock because I still had no answer from technical support.
The problem was that one of the antenna pin was not connected to the WiFi card! I completely removed the wifi module and opened it to clip back the pin and now everything works fine. ![]() Seriously, Asrock QC and Support really suck.
