Test using just one stick installed, then the other.

Oh man ! I had made a big mistake actually. When I opened the slot where the processor is, I found that there were 20 pins broken inside. All twisted and bent and crumpled up. But I can't understand that how did it happen???? Truly reasoning coz I didn't even touched that part for once also. Then how????

But today I again opened that PC and hoped that it would start up again. I started the CPU and was shocked to see,that the computer runs after so many months so after a couple of minutes I was noticing it and heard a strange sparking sound from the processor portion and the CPU was running. I thought open the fan and take a look,and found that my Intel chipset got burnt and turn into black and the processor pins made a bad smell. Which meant that it was wasted

Ok friends......please tell me that is it possible to repair my motherboard cpu pins..I have seen many sugesstions but i must confirm before buying a new one. I m thinking of buying a asrock gaming motherboard. Please tell me some good model names.
