computer fans are running when i try to boot into bios so i assume that the PC is going into the bios it just won't display it for whatever reason and i need to change my ram speed
I have a feeling that it could have something to do with the vga adapter i'm using because my monitor doesn't have any hdmi ports so have to use one of those. would testing a different display only using a hdmi be a bad idea? or should i just troubleshoot something else? also my specs are i5 9400f 1660 super asrock b365m pro 4 |

Dear Redhatime,
Thank you for posting your query to the ASRock forum. Kindly try the suggestions below: 1. Install only one RAM. 2. Reinstall the CPU. 3. Follow the page.18 from the link below to clear the CMOS. https://download.asrock.com/Manual/B365M%20Pro4.pdf 4. Check if power supply wattage is sufficient for the system and re-plug the power supply to the motherboard. 5. Remove everything from the system, except for CPU/CPU fan/one RAM/graphics card. 6. If possible, please try with a different HDMI cable or the monitor. With thanks, ASRock TSD Edited by ASRock_TSD - 10 Aug 2020 at 11:18am |
