I am building my first computer with an x99 Taichi, 1080ti, and i7 chip; however I can?™t get anything to display. I have confirmed that the motherboard, graphics card, and cpu all work... I?™ve tried using one memory stick in each socket. Not sure what else to try.

Two things come immediately to mind here.

Have you plugged in at least one 8-Pin CPU Power in at the top middle of the MB?

The other is, have you supplied the correct 8-pin(?) power to the 1080 GPU?

X79 and X99 Memory Stick/Slot Usage

Also. This type of memory slot is sometimes problematic getting the stick(s) properly and fully seated.
