I've been trying to create a boot option in UEFI using Shell v2 and I'm unable to add boot options.
This command works w/o issues and the new choice is added to the boot menu: Shell> bcfg boot add 0 fs0:\vmlinuz-linux "Arch Linux" This command does nothing and produces no output: Shell> bcfg boot -opt 0 "root=/dev/sda initrd=\initramfs-linux.img" Dump says entry 0 Optional: N Shell> bcfg boot dump -v I tried adding options from file and it didn't work either. Shell> bcfg boot -opt 0 FS0:\options.txt From my experiments It appears that options are ignored altogether. The output of Shell> setvar Boot0000 doesn't change with options added. Anyone has any clue what's going on here? |
