Memory Clock issues

   Hi all - New to the forum here but I've had my taichi x370 for awhile. It was a pain to setup when the board first came out and very finicky. Now it's very stable but I'm still having issues with getting the correct memory speeds. I'm using two sticks of corsair CMU16Gx4McC3200 @ 8gbs each. I have no real issues with my pc at all except for I'm not getting the right speeds. CPUID has my memory frequency at 1066.8 Mhz and not the stated 2133 Mhz. Any suggestions on how to change that?

Running stock 1700 (upgrading to 3900x soon)

Just as a heads up I've been building pcs since the 90s but I haven't spent a whole lot of time learning how to change memory timings and how to overclock successfully. I'm sure I can pick it up but every time I've tried the pc seems so unstable that it doesn't seem worth it to me.

	Forgot to mention that I have the memory in A2 and B2 slots. When I go into the xmp profile and change the memory to 3200 the system crashes every time. Seems that 2666 is the fastest I can go without it crashing.

	That Corsair RAM is not currently on the Taichi X370 QVL (Supported RAM list) which could be why it does not run beyond 2666 speed Which BIOS version are you currently using? On Ryzen 1700 it is best to USE bios version 5.60 or below with version 3.30 being the best if your RAM is supported. Newer BIOS versions after 5.60 add little for Ryzen 1700. 1066.8 Mhz X 2 = 2133 Mhz which is correctly being reported at the default non XMP speed.

	Thanks for the reply. I'm an idiot... after all this time I didn't know that the speed labeled on the ram was the highest overclocked speed achieved. I kept setting the XMP to 3200 and would get blue screen crashes. Didn't know that I could choose any speed in between. Have stability at 3066 right now.
