Hi All,
I have just bought x870e Lite + 9950x. I've updated BIOS to 3.30. I'm trying to install Ubuntu 22.04 LTS but it doesn't work, I tried both Desktop and Server versions, nothing goes after GRUB, when I select try/install ubuntu the screen just goes black and nothing happens, tried save graphics, same issue. Tried with different GPU same issue. Is there something special I need to do on this Taichi? |

Are you booting from the USB by default?

I use the boot menu to select to boot from USB.
I also tried using different flash drive, different ports. On ubuntu GRUB I tried going with "nomodeset" but it again hung at "booting a command list". |

I think Ubuntu 22.04 is too old, current LTS version is 24.04.
This works perfect here with Taichi Lite and 9900 and BIOS 3.30 |
