In addition to the five-minute shutdown/restart delay problem, reflashing the v2.61 BIOS also solved my blank screen (only wallpaper seen) on remote desktop (RDP) problem, apparently caused by the graphics adapter! Two very annoying problems have been solved at once by reflashing the v2.61 BIOS!
