I don't have 2 NVME's in my setup, but the M2_1 is an Ultra M.2 slot, and supports both SATA and PCIe drives. If I remember correctly, the manual says M2_2 is only for PCIe.
And, I do not believe the board supports NVME raid. That's probably only available on the HEDT platform. There was some talk of StoreMI working, since it's software based, but YMMV.
