Its because the nvme controller for the M.2 is not that one for which you installed the driver, the nvme is listed under Storage Controolers and is called Standard NVM Express Controller.
The one you listed is the 4 port 6Gbps SATA Controller that now has AMD Drivers instead of the Microsoft provided ones

The driver you need is provided by Samsung here http://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/minisite/ssd/product/consumer/960evo/, give it a go and report back, tho I don't think it will help with this issue, it will help with Write/Read speeds.
This bug occurs only from bios 4.4x onward, 4.40 was not affected I tested this myself, but 4.40 has other problems, so no go there either, new bios is the only fix as far as I tested if you have Raven Ridge, for older CPU's you can downgrade to 3.xx Edited by cristy6100 - 27 Mar 2018 at 8:59pm |

@ cristy6100 Yes, I'm aware of that as I installed the AMD AHCI Driver to replace the quite old Microsoft's one. As for the Samsung NVMe Driver, I had that already installed of course. Well, I'll have to wait for a fix based on a new BIOS version I suppose .... ![]() |
